Italy Emerging as a Food Tech Hub

The global movement of entrepreneurs developing technologies to preserve and reinvigorate local food systems is making its way to the country with great culinary traditions

There is an interesting article in Forbes that talks about how Italy, a country with so many food and culinary traditions, is a little slow in regards to financing and investing in new and modern food technologies and advancements.

A few Italian entrepreneurs have launched Rural Hub, a physical and virtual business incubator that will offer rural startups mentorship, research and connections to funds and investors.
