An investigation spanning 30 cities in Vietnam has uncovered massive food safety violations. According to Vietnamnet.vn, just over 1,000 business had broken food safety law so far this year. The Plant Protection Department also discovered “that out of 17,037 samples of imported foods inspected by the department this year, over 290 fruit and vegetables were found to contain pesticides and other chemicals beyond permissible levels.” To read more, click HERE.
