
Tyson Foods Inc. recalled its fully cooked Panko Chicken Nuggets after some customers complained they’d found hard plastic in their poultry, the U.S. Department of Agriculture announced.
The meat giant voluntarily recalled 132,520 pounds of possibly contaminated chicken, including five-pound Tyson bags shipped to Costco stores nationwide and 20-pound cases of Spare Time brand shipped to a Pennsylvania wholesaler.
No injuries or adverse reactions have been reported. The department advised anyone who encounters the unwelcome synthetics to toss or return the product.
