Staying true to the company goal of having a minimal impact on the environment, Turtle Island Foods of Hood River, Ore., is set to open it's new processing plant this week. Some of the sustainable features of the new plant include over 400 solar panels, a 1,400-square foot eco-roof and a solar-powered electric car charging station.
