Preparing For The Electronic-Log Mandate

FMCSA expected to release new proposed EOBR rule in the first quarter of next year.

Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA)

Electronic onboard recorders (EOBRs), also known as electronic driver logs (EDLs), will soon become mandatory in the trucking industry.

It could then take until sometime in 2014 for the final rule to be published.
