According to Mike Rozembajgier, vice president of recalls for Stericycle ExpertRECALL, there have been mixed reactions from the food industry regarding the Food Safety Modernization Act (FSMA).
Some industry groups, like the Grocery Manufacturers Association (GMA), have publicly praised FDA for implementing the FSMA rules whereas others argue that the proposed rules will lead to extra implementation expenses.
