East Coast Warehouse & Distribution and its sister company, Safeway Trucking Corporation, acquired Allied Brothers Intermodal, Inc., a full-service drayage provider serving the Northeast region of the United States.

“The acquisition of Allied will strengthen and increase Safeway’s overall driver capacity at a time when driver recruitment and retention is a top priority,” says East Coast Warehouse CEO Jamie Overley. “Their service offering and footprint dovetails with that of our organization. We are confident the combination of our companies will benefit our customers.”
