Russia's Chief Sanitary Inspector Suddenly Resigns

The leader of Russia's Sanitary and Inspection service Gennady Onishchenko, who has recently come under fire for his heavy-handed tactics towards bans and restrictions with many countries and the EU, has abruptly resigned. Onishchenko banned US pork and beef imports earlier in 2013 in a move that most industry insiders considered "unjustified" at the time. To read more, click HERE.
