Supplier.io acquired TealBook, an authoritative and verified supplier data foundation built to solve vendor master data at enterprise scale.

The acquisition complements the launch of Atlas, Supplier.io's new vendor master data management solution.

"Clean supplier data is not a nice-to-have. It is the foundation for every sourcing decision, every spend analysis, and every procurement platform," says Neeraj Shah, CEO of Supplier.io. "We built Supplier.io to give procurement teams the intelligence they need to act with confidence, and with TealBook's technology now part of our platform, we can deliver that from the ground up. Atlas is the product our customers have been asking for, and it is available today."

Key takeaways:

·        With the addition of TealBook's technology, Supplier.io now covers the full supplier data lifecycle in a single platform.

·        Atlas combines Supplier.io's deep intelligence layer, covering diversity certifications, sustainability attributes, risk and compliance data, and enriched firmographics, with TealBook's specialized capability in vendor master data cleansing, legal entity resolution, and corporate hierarchy.

·        Atlas covers 225 million global supplier profiles and verified legal registries. The result is a supplier data foundation that not only adds more data but also makes the data organizations already have trustworthy and usable.

·        Atlas is projected to eliminate duplicate and fragmented supplier records across ERP and procurement systems; identify cost savings through supplier consolidation and spend visibility across corporate families; improve confidence in supplier selection, reporting, and compliance; and accelerate sourcing with cleaner, pre-qualified supplier data from Day 1.

"TealBook was built to solve one of the hardest problems in procurement data: getting the vendor master right," says Stephany Lapierre, founder of TealBook. "We spent years developing technical depth in entity resolution, deduplication, and hierarchy mapping because we knew that everything else in procurement runs on that foundation. Joining Supplier.io means that capability now reaches a much larger market, inside a platform that already delivers the intelligence layer our customers also need."
