This year’s Solutions Conference, presented by the International Foodservice Distributors Association (IFDA), will shine a spotlight on the ever-evolving foodservice distribution space.
Set for Sept. 13-15 in San Antonio, Texas, this year’s conference will enable the 1,500 exhibitors and attendees to gain insights, explore new opportunities and face challenges together across operations, information technology, human resources, safety and risk, sales and marketing, and other key business functions.
Key takeaways:
· The show kicks off with sips and light bites at LDR Grotto.
· Every session is built around one purpose: moving business forward with clarity and intention, uncovering the ins and outs of everything from leadership and legacy to working with suppliers, engaging with AI, dealing with data, protecting drivers and fleet and planning for tomorrow.
· President and CEO Mark S. Allen announced plans to retire in early 2027, following 27 years with the association. During his tenure, IFDA expanded its member programs, strengthened its advocacy and industry engagement, and elevated the association’s work on issues central to foodservice distribution, including workforce development, safety, supply chain resilience, technology and operational excellence.
· Held in conjunction with the IFDA Solutions Conference, the Executive Leadership Summit brings industry leaders together to explore the critical challenges and opportunities shaping the future, all while fostering peer-driven conversations that spark innovation and growth. Designed by distributors, for distributors, the agenda is built to push boundaries, inspire fresh thinking, and equip you with the insights to lead at the next level.
