The General Mills-owned cereal maker Cascadian Farms recently announced they've created a new inner-bag for their oats, squares and flake cereal boxes that uses 57% renewable plant-based material.
Interestingly enough, Cascadian reps did say that 100% plant-based materials are way off, but with the pace of innovation it might not be too far down the road. To read more, click HERE.
