The White House is threatening to veto the House version of the farm bill arguing that the proposed $20.5 billion in cuts over the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (Food Stamps) is unacceptable. The White House however, has not threatened to veto the Senate version of the bill, which will cut $4 billion from the program. To read more, click HERE.
