It’s Whole Hog On Pig Futures

Speculation on hog futures has reached a two-year high as pork products within the U.S. have even surpassed beef just prior to the upcoming July 4^th holiday.  Don Roose, president of U.S. Commodities Inc. spoke to Bloomberg saying that “demand is stronger because the retailer and wholesaler did a very good job of spooking people on tight beef supplies and switched over their promotions to a cheaper product, pork.” To read more, click HERE.
