Legislators in the House of Representatives could delay new food safety legislation due to the introduction of the new farm bill on Thursday. Thomson Reuters reports that Republican Dan Benjshek from Michigan “is demanding the FDA, which is charged with implementing the food safety law and is still in the process of discussing its implications with the agricultural community, conduct an additional cost and scientific analysis.” To read more, click HERE.
