UK-based ACS&T Logistics recently announced that they have signed a new contract with specialist meat and poultry processor Pinnacle Foods to provide tri-temperature transportation and storage for Pinnacle's pork products.
According to the one-year deal, ACS&T will provide refrigerated transportation and storage, with most of the goods starting at the Pinnacle manufacturing plant in Guildford and stored at ACS&T's Wolverhampton site, before being distributed by the pallet-load to designated wholesalers around the country.
Pinnacle Foods manufactures a wide range of meat, including chops, steaks, slices and joints, as well as minced products, under the Wilson's, Pinnacle and Brockhurst Farm brands.
In addition to supplying to some of the leading names across the food service, retail and manufacturing industries in the UK, ACS&T also exports to Europe, China, Hong Kong and South Korea.
