Delivery Challenges in Perishables Sector

Only 2% believe it’s the buyer’s responsibility to protect perishables.

More than half of consumers (51%) have experienced a delivery issue with perishables. And when something goes wrong, the majority expect a full refund or immediate replacement, according to a new survey from InsureShield.

“Shipping perishables in the summer is a high-stakes challenge. Whether you’re a small gourmet shop, a national wine club, or a major grocer, delivering temperature-sensitive goods requires precision, protection, and a plan,” according to InsureSheild.
