Food Logistics’ associate editor Brielle Jaekel placed second in the Distribution/Order Fulfillment category in Logistics Brief’s 2020 MVP Award for her High-End Perishables Create Added Pressure for 3PLs article, which published in the June 2020 issue.

Articles were judged based on providing the highest value to industry professionals, including useful and actionable information and providing long- and short-term value to the supply chain and logistics industry.

“Any time anyone on our editorial team wins an award is a win for the brand, and I couldn’t be more proud of her,” says editor-in-chief Marina Mayer. “Brielle excels at seeking out the right contacts to help her ‘tell a story’ and ‘paint a picture’ for our readers. I think this is just the beginning for her and what she can accomplish while writing for our 3PL/cold chain section.”

“I’m honored to have been recognized for my high-end perishables article in such a competitive field. At a time when everything seems to be upended, it can be difficult to find the angle of a story, but it is a job I take pride in,” says Jaekel. “I love discovering the new trends happening in our industry and dissecting all the nuances that come with that. I look forward to creating more content like this and hope you follow my journey further into the logistics world.”
