Food Tracing Technology Puts Sensors in the Food

TruTag Technologies, a Hawaii-based nanotechnology company has started promoting the commercial release of it's new TruTag microtags technology for companies in the food and beverage markets looking for a customized technology solution to food security and counterfeiting problems.

The microtags contain unique codes that can only be scanned using TruTag instruments, similar to a traditional printed bar code, allowing TruTag microtags to serve as covert, heat-resistant, "edible bar codes." To read more, click HERE.
