Supply Chain Network Promotes From Within, Names New Associate Editor

Emry Lloyd was named Associate Editor, succeeding Alexis Mizell-Pleasant, who was named Managing Editor, effective Jan. 3.

Food Logistics and Supply & Demand Chain Executive named Emry Lloyd as Associate Editor, responsible for writing, editing, overseeing social media, managing the websites and more.

Emry graduated with Honors from Rutgers University in 2021, and since then, has worked as a senior editing coordinator at Wolters Kluwer, where she managed schedules, workflow and subject matter experts, among other tasks. She currently resides in Clementon, N.J., with her three cats, Tommy, Shy Guy and Dandy, who actually made an appearance during our initial interview. With that, congratulations to Alexis Mizell-Pleasant, who will be moved into the Managing Editor role of Food Logistics and Supply & Demand Chain Executive. Mizell-Pleasant joined the Supply Chain Network in August 2022, and since then has stepped up in big ways, taking over writing assignments for both Food Logistics’ print as well as SDCExec.com, all while managing  social media channels, posting news items and helping behind the scenes with awards. Mizell-Pleasant also moderated fireside chats at the Supply Chain group’s newly launched Women in Supply Chain Forum.
