New Virus Could Hurt Pork Prices

A new virus to the U.S. called PED, or the Porcine Epidemic Diarrhea Virus, has appeared in 15 states killing piglets at a sudden rate. The Associated Press first reported that in some places mortality has been 100%. Although the virus does not affect humans the impact on individual farms has been severe. To read more, click HERE.
