Fountain announced Cue, the first enterprise-ready execution layer designed to autonomously run frontline hiring and workforce operations.
Cue runs the work inside hiring and scheduling workflows, such as sourcing, screening, and scheduling candidates, all without manual intervention.
“Frontline workers are the majority of the global workforce, yet frontline operations remain the least automated and optimized,” says Salim Jernite, chief product and technology officer at Fountain. “Software helped companies digitize operations, and agentic systems are the next evolution. Cue is pushing this transition forward with the first step toward an autonomous execution layer for enterprise operations.”
Key takeaways:
· Unlike traditional SaaS tools that require human configuration and oversight, Cue operates directly on enterprise workflows. Cue ingests company data, configures best-practice processes, executes operational tasks, continuously benchmark performance, and optimizes outcomes in real time. This marks a structural shift from software as a tool to software as an autonomous execution system.
· Cue can autonomously execute frontline hiring and workforce management, including automatically builds and updates hiring workflows based on performance; sources and screens candidates without recruiter intervention; detects and fills shift gaps before they impact operations; flags underperforming locations and recommends fixes; and generates board-ready operational insights.
