Louis Dreyfus Company (LDC) is pleased to have formed a joint venture project with Donlink Group to construct a Food Industrial Park in Nansha, Guangzhou. Located near the Port of Nansha, the project will include feed protein processing, high-tech ecological aquaculture, grains trading, food innovation, plant-based clean energy production and other business sectors. The total investment is 7 billion RMB, with an expected annual output value of 22 billion RMB.
Nansha enjoys unique advantages thanks to the dynamic development of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area. Together with our oilseed processing plant in Dongguan, Guangdong, it will form an important industrial base for our strategic presence in the Pearl River Delta, enabling us to move further downstream to meet consumer needs. We aim to leverage Nansha's unique position and great development opportunities to create mutual benefits and drive progress within the sector.
Currently, more than 400 million people in China belong to the middle-income group. With the improvement of people's living standards, consumer demand for high-quality protein is growing rapidly. As a company rooted in China for over 40 years, Louis Dreyfus Company is committed to serve the Chinese consumer’s food basket with a safe, transparent and sustainable food supply chain, which is in line with our vision of working towards a safe and sustainable future.
