Freshly Inc. has signed a lease for its second distribution center in New Jersey. The 234,000 square-foot facility will be the company’s largest distribution center, aiming to ship 1.6 million meals per week at peak capacity. The center is expected to be operational by February 2022.

"The addition of a new facility of this size will bring hundreds of new jobs to East Greenwich and allow us to significantly scale our meal production to move us closer to the goal of being in every household in America. The news of the new facility comes as Freshly announced it has been acquired by Nestle USA.

- The new facility will help Freshly meet growing customer demand, reduce the order-to-delivery cycle time to consumers, and ultimately create 340 incremental jobs in the area.
- Freshly will continue to operate its Linden, NJ facility which employs 70 people.
- In the past few months, the company opened new facilities in Commerce, CA, and Austell, GA to increase production and order fulfillment capacity.
