Penske Orders CNG Tractors

Penske Truck Leasing has placed an order for 100 compressed natural gas (CNG) tractors. According to Refrigerated Transporter, Penske has ordered the Freightliner Cascadia tractor which comes equipped with the Cummins Westport 12-liter engine. Art Valley, Penske Truck Leasing's executive vice president of operations, spoke with Refrigerated Transporter saying, “Many full service truck leasing customers continue to evaluate using natural gas (NGVs) within their truck fleets while others are quickly adopting the use of NGVs to meet their sustainability goals.” To read more, click HERE.
