Port Manatee in Florida will accept a $2 million dollar grant to build a cold storage warehouse. The Bradenton Herald quoted Carlos Buqueras, port executive director saying, “we’re looking for companies to invest with us under a public-private partnership in development of a cold storage facility to handle imported or exported perishable commodities—fruits and vegetables.” To read more, click HERE.
