Kane Is Able Launches Updated Website

Provides practical advice on effective logistics strategies for CPG companies.

Scranton, PA: Kane Is Able (KANE) announced the launch of its updated company website at www.kaneisable.com.

The new site is a departure from many websites that focus solely on company information. According to KANE’s chief customer strategy officer, Chris Kane, the site focuses on the information needs of KANE’s audience of logistics professionals at consumer packaged goods (CPG) companies.

“The updated site contains videos, white papers and case studies that promote best practices in CPG logistics,” says Kane. “It leverages the know-how KANE has developed during our 80-year history to help CPG companies use logistics to compete more effectively.”

As part of the new website launch, KANE has introduced www.kaneisable.com/blog THE CPG LOGISTICS BLOG to encourage an active idea exchange within the CPG community. In addition, links to KANE’s profiles on popular social media outlets such as Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and Flickr help the company interact with customers, partners and associates.

“Our company is collaborative by nature and we continually work to be part of the larger conversation,” says Alex Stark, marketing director at Kane Is Able. “We embrace social media as a way to stimulate an ongoing dialogue on safe, cost-effective logistics solutions in the CPG industry.”

To develop the new website, KANE partnered with Brookfield, CT-based web design company, Accession Media. The project started in the summer of 2010.

“In keeping with our focus on being the CPG logistics specialists, we wanted to enhance KANE’s website capabilities and message,” says Stark. “Working with Accession Media has been a terrific experience. The Accession team is easy to work with and they executed the plan flawlessly.”
