UK Processing Plant To Create Carton Recycling Facility

New recycling facility to help improve beverage carton recycling rates.

UK processing plant Sonoco Alcore has signed an agreement with the Alliance for Beverage Cartons & the Environment (ACE) in order to institute a beverage carton recycling facility near Halifax, West Yorkshire. The plant is anticipated to debut in 2013 with a capacity to recycle 25,000 tons of beverage cartons.
