Nermine Saad, application services manager for Tecsys, was named a recipient of the 2025 Women in Supply Chain Forum Award, presented by Food Logistics and Supply & Demand Chain Executive, and sponsored by Let’s Talk Supply Chain, in the Trailblazers category.

Saad is a seasoned supply chain transformation leader with nearly 20 years of global experience spanning logistics, operations, demand planning, supplier performance and enterprise software implementation.

Originally from Egypt and now based in Canada, Saad is a recognized industry leader, blending resilience and results with a people-first leadership style, paving the way for future women in supply chain through her example, innovation and sustained impact. It was in Canada where she restarted her career from scratch, working full-time while pursuing graduate studies in supply chain at McGill University.

Her career reflects a consistent commitment to operational excellence, cross-functional leadership and innovation. She has held key roles at organizations such as Bombardier Business Aircrafts, Aldo Group, and S. Cohen, where she delivered measurable improvements in forecasting, supplier management, and production planning.

She currently serves as application services manager, where she leads large-scale digital transformation initiatives for supply chain organizations across North America, and has driven system integration projects that optimize end-to-end processes and elevate supply chain practitioner outcomes. While at Tecsys, she's also introduced key innovations to Tecsys’ internal operations and developed a suite of process documentation tools that now underpin hiring, onboarding and training.

Saad sat down with Sarah Barnes-Humphrey, founder of Let's Talk Supply Chain podcast and Blended Pledge program, both presenting sponsors of the Women in Supply Chain Forum™ Award, to walk through how to achieve the best results from your team through collaboration, empowerment and mentorship and the importance of fostering a culture of ongoing learning.
