Richard Berman, the president of Washington, D.C.-based communications firm Berman and Company, writes an interesting opinion piece for Nation's Restaurant News that attacks a few chains in the industry and their recent attempts to capitalize on the fad of marketing its food as more "sustainable" or "responsible" with YouTube videos.
It points out how hypocritical it is for Chipotle and Panera to try and cash in on the fad, while throwing their own food supply chain and farmers, specifically, under the bus on sustainability issues. To read more, click HERE.
