Moran Transportation Corporation in Elk Grove Village, Ill., has purchased the assets of Mats Trucking based in Eagan, Minn., from the Dawson Family. Mats Trucking has been a service-driven carrier within the forwarder and airline line haul/delivery network for over 30 years.
Moran Transportation Corporation provides line haul and pickup/delivery for the forwarding and airline industry. The company operates a network of terminals within the Midwest providing service between Chicago (ORD) and points serviced in Illinois, Indiana, Wisconsin, Minnesota, and parts of Iowa and Michigan. With more than 400 dedicated employees and 325 trucks, the company provides many value added services such as liftgate, inside delivery, residential, dangerous goods and TSA certified.
