Kroger Expands Home Delivery to Half of its Stores

More than half of Kroger stores will offer home delivery through its Instacart partnership starting Thursday.

More than half of Kroger stores nationwide will now offer home delivery through its partnership with Instacart.

According to USA Today, starting Thursday, the service will be available in Atlanta and Augusta Georgia; Knoxville, Memphis and Nashville, Tennessee; Little Rock, Arkansas and more. 

The grocer is aiming to have 120 stores more stores across the country offer same-day delivery by October. USA Today reports that same-day delivery will be available in as little as two hours. 

The cost for delivery is $11.95 per order and tipping the Instacart shopper is optional. Customers can use the service through Kroger's website or mobile app, and then arrange when to have it delivered to their home.
