VELA launched CoolSafe by VELA, what is said to be an industry-first onboard sustainable refrigeration system that enables fast, reliable and secure ocean transport for sensitive goods like pharmaceutical products, wine, spirits, and cosmetics.
Developed in partnership with T.R. Equipments, CoolSafe by VELA allows temperature-sensitive products to benefit from VELA’s highly decarbonized transatlantic shipping solution between Europe and the United States.
“With the CoolSafe by VELA sustainable refrigeration system, we enable shippers to access fast, secure, and low-carbon ocean transport for sensitive goods, without having to choose between delivery time, product integrity, or environmental responsibility.
