U.S. Growers Cold Storage, Inc. recently presented the third annual Sam Perricone Memorial Scholarship to Luis Hernandez at the company’s service appreciation dinner. Luis’ mother, Gabriela Hernandez, has been with U.S. Growers for 19 years. Luis plans to use his scholarship money to help finance his undergraduate degree; ultimately, he intends to pursue a career in graphic design.
Sam Perricone, who passed away in 2011, was one of the founding partners of U.S. Growers.
Sam felt that a businesses’ first priority should always be taking care of its customers.
