For the first time in more than a decade, the Jacksonville Port Authority (JAXPORT) is offering shippers the opportunity to move refrigerated cargoes from Jacksonville, Fla., to ports in Namibia, South Africa and Mozambique, with the first vessel in the upgraded service arriving at JAXPORT's Blount Island Marine Terminal this week.
Galborg USA has provided carrier services between Jacksonville and Africa for 15 yearsbut they recently upgraded their vessel fleet and now offer up to 100 refrigerated units on each ship. To read more, click HERE.
