Toronto, Ontario, Canada: The Toronto Trucking Association will be hosting a lunchtime seminar on sustainability in the logistics sector May 15.
Featured speakers will include:
- Eric Lange, president of Lange Transportation;
- Brent Fowler, vice-president of SLH Transport; and
- James Gray-Donald, sustainability leader at Sears.
The event, co-hosted with Partners in Project Green (PPG), will highlight ways for companies to reduce their costs and drive new business through sustainable business practices, while identifying programs that can help companies jump-start their sustainability programs with PPG.
Attendees will learn about steps both Sears and Lange Transportation have taken towards realizing the business benefits of sustainability as well as resources available to companies to begin adopting sustainable business practices via PPG.
The event will be held at the Weston Golf and Country Club in Toronto May 15.
Registration begins at 11:30 pm, with a noon lunch and presentations to follow. The cost for members of the TTA and PPG is $70 + HST, and $115 + HST for non-members.
