In the third announcement in as many weeks, Globe Tracker's reefer solution has brought in another company, according to Hellenic Shipping News and Globe Tracker.
The online newspaper announced Thursday that Samskip selected Globe Tracker to provide an "advanced Internet of Things" solution for its refrigerators containers. The platform offers tracking and monitoring solutions with two-way communication.
Samskip operates one of Europe's largest multimodal container logistics systems, while Globe Tracker is a privately held Danish company that has offices in Denmark, the United States, Iceland and Canada.
Dole Food Company recently began using Globe Tracker as well.
