New Patent Drives Freight Capacity Visibility

New software developer VuTrans Inc. announces that it received a patent for what it calls a system and method for identifying freight capacity. The company says the logistics tool enables shippers to proactively monitor the in-transit visibility of all of their truck shipments of all of their vendors’ within a single customized one-way or two-way platform. Visibility is now a crucial part of the supply chain, with new technologies continually releasing to alleviate some paint points of the logistics industry.
