TradeCafe Inc. secured a $10 million equity investment from Round13 Capital to drive global adoption of the company’s protein commodities trading platform.

TradeCafe’s cloud-based technology platform and online marketplace conducts, finances and fulfills trade transactions for trading protein commodities.

John Eckert, Round13 co-founder and managing partner, will be joining the TradeCafe board of directors.
Tradecafe’s online marketplace is automated, centrally organized and visible to all counterparties.
This investment brings the total funding raised to date to $43.5 million.
