Saddle Creek Names Chief Operating Officer

Saddle Creek Logistics Services announces the promotion of Grady Martin to chief operating officer (COO). In his new role, Martin will oversee the company's operations nationwide in addition to solutions, engineering and innovation functions.

During his tenure, Martin has streamlined Saddle Creek’s solution design process, built a collaborative enterprise-wide engineering team, established the Innovation Leadership Team, and played a key role in developing and facilitating the company’s strategic planning process.

CalAmp Announces Appointment of Paul Washicko

 CalAmp appoints Paul Washicko as the new senior vice president of Product Management. In his role, Washicko will lead an accomplished team across the company’s telematics portfolio of hardware and software solutions, driving innovation and growth.

Paul Washicko brings more than 20 years of leadership experience in the telematics industry to CalAmp. His extensive background spans engineering, operations management, strategy, product development, and mergers and acquisitions. Prior to rejoining CalAmp, Washicko served as VP and general manager of ConMet’s Digital Business Unit. In this capacity, he oversaw significant advancements and expansion within the digital space.

RefrigiWear Welcomes New Vice President of Sales for Outdoor Industries

RefrigiWear announces the appointment of Leigh Stadelmeier as VP of B2B Outdoor Sales. In this role, Stadelmeier will lead RefrigiWear to further position itself as the market leader in insulated industrial workwear, building sales strategies to drive growth and revenue in the B2B Outdoor division.

Stadelmeier brings over 20 years of experience in construction distribution to the role. He is also an Authorized OSHA Outreach Trainer. Having experienced a traumatic fall while serving in the Army, Stadelmeier devoted his career to safety and training to prevent accidents on the job. His background also includes strategic leadership in corporate safety, expertise in personal protective equipment (PPE), and safety training for construction teams focused on fall prevention and safety best practices.

Hyundai Material Handling Announces Director of Dealer Development & National Accounts

Farrukh Ghani brings more than 25 years of industry experience to the company. His areas of responsibility will include leading the company’s efforts in strengthening its dealer network, adding to its growing list of national accounts, and continuing the company’s more aggressive approach to sales and marketing.

Ghani has held key leadership positions in the material handling industry.  In his previous position, he served as director of Channel Development for Doosan Industrial Vehicle America, helping the company achieve record growth and market share year-over-year from 2016 to 2023.  Prior to that, he served as VP and CFO for Clark Material Handling Company, overseeing and enhancing such diverse departments as Finance, Sales, IT, Order Management and Logistics, among others.

Harbor Commission Names Director of Project Controls

The Long Beach Board of Harbor Commissioners on Monday approved the selection of Ashley Morteboy to lead the Project Controls Division at Port of Long Beach, the nation’s second-busiest seaport. The director of Project Controls is responsible for establishing and tracking schedules, budgets and costs for the timely delivery of the Port’s infrastructure projects for the Engineering Services Bureau.

Morteboy comes to the Port of Long Beach after working two years as director of project controls at UC Davis Health, where he similarly oversaw the planning and design of the agency’s capital improvement program. He previously served as a senior manager at Procter & Gamble for two years and brings more than 18 years of project controls experience working nationally and internationally throughout his career, which spans a wide range of capital investment ventures for many sectors and industries.

IFPA Welcomes New Vice President of Global Industry Relations

International Fresh Produce Association (IFPA) has announced that Jessica Keller has joined the association and will serve as the VP of Global Industry Relations. Keller is the first to serve in this role which was created to align with IFPA’s core commitment to grow member value globally. She will direct and support the association’s global representatives and country councils and committees and lead the implementation of the association’s global portfolio.  

Keller most recent role was as COO at Food Hall Company where she transformed the company through a strategic reorganization. Before that she spent 16 years at Whole Foods Market where she served most recently as the regional VP of the Southwest Region.  In addition to overseeing successful launches of new stores and driving over $1b in annual sales across her region, Keller also created a collaborative culture and mentored regional leadership teams.

HeroWear Appoints John Heller to New Role

HeroWear announces that John Heller will serve as the company’s first chief operating officer. In this new role, John will lead operations, finance, and HR. He will implement strategies to drive long-term growth by supporting the scalable adoption of exosuits and recurring services across many industries and applications.

Expected to grow at a CAGR of more than 15% by 2030, the exoskeleton and exosuit market has caught the attention of companies across industries including warehousing and logistics, manufacturing, retail, food and beverage, and construction among other sectors. As COO, Heller will strengthen HeroWear’s alignment with these and other industries by pursuing assistive technology, training, and solutions to reduce injury and fatigue and improve the lives of workers with physically demanding jobs.

iFoodDS Appoints Andrew Kennedy as Chief Traceability Officer

iFoodDS today announced the promotion of Andrew Kennedy to the position of chief traceability officer, effective immediately. In his new role, Kennedy will lead the product strategy for iFoodDS’ traceability product line while continuing to advocate for the importance of traceability across the food supply chain.         

Kennedy's nearly two decades of experience leading large-scale food supply chain traceability initiatives include serving as co-leader of Tech-Enabled Traceability, a core element of FDA’s New Era of Smarter Food Safety initiative; contributor to FDA’s Final Food Traceability Rule (FSMA 204); interim director of IFT’s Global Food Traceability Center; and co-founder of both New Era Partners and FoodLogiQ.
