Del Monte Foods Renews Multi-Year Contract with Transplace

Transplace will be continuing its relationship with Del Monte Foods through a full contract extension. With the new long-term agreement, Transplace will continue to provide Del Monte with strategic expertise in transportation management and logistics, as well as high performance execution throughout the Del Monte network.

Del Monte Foods is one of the country's largest producers, distributors and marketers of premium quality, branded pet products and food products for the US retail market. With a powerful portfolio of brands, Del Monte products are found in eight out of ten US households.

Pet food and pet snacks brands include: Meow Mix, Kibbles 'n Bits, Milk-Bone, 9Lives, Pup-Peroni, Gravy Train, Nature's Recipe, Canine Carry Outs, Milo's Kitchen and other brand names. Food product brands include Del Monte, Contadina, S&W, College Inn and other brand names.

Since 2006, Transplace has worked collaboratively with Del Monte to help enable process improvements within the consumer packaged foods company's organization through weekly, monthly and quarterly reviews to uncover new improvement opportunities, discuss ongoing initiatives and track progress to determine savings.

Transplace's dedicated account team is focused on driving collaboration opportunities during Del Monte's peak volume seasons emphasizing capacity planning and service execution, and implementing Lean Six Sigma initiatives.
