DoorDash announced DashMart Fulfillment Services, a new fulfillment model that uses DoorDash’s network of DashMart locations to handle the entire process, from inventory management, picking, packing, and delivery by Dashers, managing logistics end-to-end.

“Today’s consumers expect delivery in minutes, and around the clock. For many retailers and grocers, meeting that demand requires massive investment in logistics and technology. That’s where DashMart Fulfillment Services comes in,” says Fuad Hannon, VP of new verticals at DoorDash. “With DashMart Fulfillment Services, DoorDash gives merchants a turnkey way to sell online and deliver fast. From inventory to delivery, we’ve got it covered for our partners.”

Key takeaways:

·        DashMart Fulfillment Services is a full-service, flexible solution that allows retailers’ products to be sold on DoorDash or their own channels without the complexity of running their own inventory and delivery operations.

·        Orders are fulfilled directly from DashMart locations, where DoorDash manages inventory, handles picking and packing, and facilitates delivery through its Dasher network. This turnkey model empowers retailers to grow their digital presence and reach more customers without the cost of new infrastructure, inventory management, or technology investments.

·        With DashMart Fulfillment Services, DoorDash is helping merchants grow, meet evolving consumer expectations, and unlock new opportunities and reach through its platform, whether it’s groceries, healthcare essentials, or party supplies.
