Hapag-Lloyd and ONE Sign on to TradeLens

TradeLens has secured more major shippers as Hapag-Lloyd and Ocean Network Express have signed on to the blockchain platform.

TradeLens has secured more major shippers as Hapag-Lloyd and Ocean Network Express have signed on to the blockchain platform. The companies join CMA CGM and MSC Mediterranean Shipping Company on the network.

With the additions of Hapag-Lloyd and Ocean Network Express, the fifth and sixth largest carriers respectively, TradeLens now extends to more than half of the world's ocean container cargo.

TradeLens was launched to modernize the world's supply chain ecosystems. Many of the processes for transporting and trading goods are costly due to manual and paper-based systems. Replacing these peer-to-peer and often unreliable information exchanges, the platform enables participants to digitally connect, share information and collaborate across the shipping supply chain ecosystem.
