New York Agriculture Commission Recalls Beverages For Undeclared Milk

The products are Uprising Brand “Carrot Drink”, “Beet Drink” and “Peanut Punch” packaged in 12 ounce glass bottles.

The New York State Agriculture Commission alerted consumers to undeclared milk in Uprising brand beverages distributed by Errol Distribution in Brooklyn, according to Food Poisoning Bulletin. Anyone with an allergy or severe sensitivity to milk could have a serious reaction if they consume these products. No illnesses have been reported to date.

The products are Uprising Brand “Carrot Drink”, “Beet Drink” and “Peanut Punch” packaged in 12 ounce glass bottles. “Carrot Drink” has a product code of “Jul 30 2014; “Beet Drink” and “Peanut Punch” have product codes of “Sep 30 2014″ on the label. All are products of Jamaica. They were found for sale at a Brooklyn store, but full distribution of the product is not known.

If you purchased these products and are allergic to milk, do not consume them. Discard or return to the place of purchase for a refund.
