Amcor Packaging Going to Antarctica

Amcor is providing the packaging that will be used by Parker Liautaud to store and protect food that is essential to his success on the ice

Global packaging giant Amcor announced last week they would be sponsoring the 2013 Willis Resilience Expedition and providing 19-year-old explorer Parker Liautaud with it's state-of-the-art packaging as he attempts to set a new record trekking from the Antarctic coast all the way to the South Pole.

Amcor will provide the packaging used by Liautaud to store and protect his food on the ice along the journey, including their  innovative Duratear technology which enables Liautaud to easily open and close the bag while wearing four pairs of gloves, minimizing skin exposure and significantly reducing his risk of frostbite.
