A former director at the CDC, William Dietz, wrote a piece in Health Affairs that takes clear aim at the food industry and their "modest improvements" in food quality and marketing to the public about healthy eating choices.
Although most of his article takes on food company's marketing efforts, especially when it comes to marketing to kids, but its interesting to see an ex-government employee throw so many under the bus on this issue. To read more, click HERE.
