FMCSA Deny Request to Delay


The Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration refused a delay petitioned for by the ATA. The American Truckers Association hoped to delay changes to new rules for hours-of-services to truck drivers. Current litigation will cost the industry $320 million dollars. One of the main critiques to this new legislation is that it will require truck drivers to undergo "potentially duplicative and unnecessary training." To read more, click HERE.
