Integrated Food Safety Center of Excellence To Be Formed
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) funded a $200,000 grant to the University of Tennessee to establish a food safety center.
Tennessee’s new food safety center, the Integrated Food Safety Center of Excellence will lend a hand to the state health department by closely watching foodborne illness and by helping to track and stop outbreaks.
