Largest CNG Fueling Facility Opens In Georgia

This facility was built in conjunction with a grant awarded to Clean Cities Atlanta Petroleum Reduction Program by the Department of Energy’s National Energy Technology Laboratory.


American Fueling Systems (AFS) opened its new CNG Fueling Facility earlier this October.

“We are proud to be expanding the use of clean, affordable, natural gas in Georgia,” said Rahim Charania, CEO of AFS in a press release. “We believe CNG has quickly become the most viable alternative fuel available to both businesses and consumers and the future of this particular fuel looks very bright. AFS is ready to meet the growing demand for CNG by applying our experience, knowledge and passion to build more public and private fueling facilities throughout the nation”
