A common problem at loading docks is forklifts which damage your loading dock doors. This can occur if there is no safety barrier that protects the dock door when it is closed. In addition, when the doors are open there is the potential hazard of forklifts falling off the loading dock, which can result in a serious dock accident. Damage to expensive material handling equipment and employee injuries can also result from dock drop-offs.
