Pilgrim’s Pride says the small size of its turkey operations made it difficult for it to earn acceptable profits and that the sale would let the company focus on its chicken business.

The center adjoins the Hormel Foods processing facility in the Baoshan district of Shanghai. The entire creative process, from idea to testing and manufacturing, will occur at the center.
